Karen Darch, Village of Barrington President, has proclaimed that on Memorial Day — May 28, 2018 to me — the residents of the Village of Barrington refrain from all unnecessary labor and all public amusements and join with the VFW Post 7706 and the American Legion Post 158 in due and proper observance of Memorial Day, recalling the memory of the heroic departed and recounting their valiant deeds.
Just a reminder, this is a solemn ceremony, no bikes, roller blades, skateboards, floats, banners, posters, or animals will be allowed in the parade or at the cemetery.
