Support our Vets
The organizations the Post 7706 supports include:
![]() | ![]() TLS Veterans (legally known as Transitional Living Services) was founded in 1996 by Alan Belcher, a Vietnam combat veteran and licensed counselor. Since 2001 TLS Veterans has owned and operated New Horizons, a transitional living program in Hebron, Illinois, for 20 homeless veterans who want a chance to rebuild their lives. Veterans from WWII, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Operation Desert Storm and OEF/OIF have successfully participated in our services and have found employment, reconnected with their communities and rejoined their families. |

![]() | The mission of Wreaths Across America is to Remember, Honor and Teach lasts all year long, far beyond the single day in December when we coordinate wreath-laying ceremonies. All throughout the year, Wreaths Across America works in a number of ways to show our veterans and their families that we will not forget—we will never forget. |
![]() | ![]() Today's military and veteran families face different challenges -- reintegration, post-traumatic stress, high unemployment and rehabilitation from battlefield injuries, among others -- and the National Home has evolved over our decades-long history to meet those changing needs. In addition, we understand that the impacts of war can be generational. The National Home is here to help veteran connected families as well who are directly related to a VFW or Auxiliary member or are eligible to become one. |
